| I hope this is the right place to put it >_< If not you guys could make a spot for questions/answers on programs? =D Anyways here's my question...I am a noob at photoshop and downloaded CS5...whats the best/easiest way to mask out characters? | |

| well when i used to have photoshop(before my comp crashed)... i learned a lot of stuff from just trial and error..... so to be blunt, just mess with shit till something looks awesome haha | |

| A lot of people like to use the Lasso tool, but if you mess up one part you have to restart. That's why I use the Pen Tool. Just press 'P' on your keyboard and you should be using the tool. Now look at the top toolbar, where it says 'File' and such, right under the Image tab, not in the tab but under it, there should be the Pen Tool's options, make sure you have the middle one chosen. It's the one with a box around the pen.
Now you could mask out whatever and go point by point. And every point is movable with the arrow keys, so you don't have to be 100% perfect. Good luck lol | |

| that can be solved pretty easily me thinks...
In Vegas (if thats what you have) their are different color textures you can add onto video tracks, the textures range from fiery, to clouds, to lava, etc, and the colors are adjustable...
So all you do is find the colors you want on it then put the opacity on them super low above your anime footage.... pretty simple | |
