i hate to admit it(mostly cause i liked a couple of the Resident evil movies), but he's got a point, the track record for Video Games to movies isn't great... but ya gotta be kinda open minded when ya go see a movie that's a crossover if you wanna enjoy it, they usually aren't very accurate towards the original story but it can still be a decent movie as long as ya don't drive these points into the dirt...

I think I read something about Ubisoft being involved in the writing or something, plus its sony pictures, so I don't think they will want to do an injustice to their amazing series.
