New Years Tournament 2014 Rules and Signup Thread

Sign Up Rules for the New Years Tournament:

1. Signup Closes December 30th 11:59:59 EST, brackets will be posted December 31st. Sign Up open date will be sometime in September.

2. You must have a paypal account. I have no other way of getting the money to you.

3.
Simply post in this thread that you are "in" and you are entered
regardless of skill/programs. Include your Youtube username to make it
easier.

4. There is no limit to the amount of people that can enter, be it 2 or 200.

5. There is no fee to enter this tournament.

General Rules for the New Years Tournament:

1. Brackets will be posted the 31st and the tournament will officially start Jan 1st, 2013.

2.
Once the Round has started you have 1 month to get into contact with me or a judge/co-coordinator to receive your song. You will have 72 hours from the moment you receive your song to turn it in. You and your opponent do not need to receive your songs at the same time nor do you need to edit at the same time. For example: If A and B are competing and A decides to start Jan 3rd at 2 PM then they have to turn in their vid by Jan 6th at 2 PM but B can receive song on Jan 12th at 5 PM and must turn it in by Jan 15th at 5 PM.

3. Because I listen to nearly every genre of music you may be given "weird" songs. Do not complain about the song you get.

4. All video source is accepted, if it fits the song you were given then use it.

5. You can only use an anime/source once in the tournament so choose wisely.

Judging Rules for the New Years Tournament:

1. All vids will be judged by BG, the winner of the previous year and any other judges to be decided later.

2.
Do not complain when you lose. We are affiliated with several groups
but do not play favorites. If your vid is better in our eyes then you
will win, simple as that. If you complain too much you will be banned
from entering the tournament next year and possibly even further
depending on the severity.

3. Vids will be judged on quality, beat/lyric sync, enjoyment and overall.

Prize: 1st Place = 100 USD

That's what I meant haha. But some er visits and two hospital stays kinda threw me off
